MARCOS UNDRESSED

BATGIRL: YEAR ONE debuts next month… and to gear up for the launch of the nine-issue mini-series, I sat down with artist Marcos Martín for a very revealing interview. Just click on over to behind-the-scenes for a glimpse at Marcos's background, his influences, and his creative process, including a step-by-step breakdown of how that kooky Spaniard approached penciling the fledgling adventures of Barbara Gordon!

ARCHERY LESSON

Just a few weeks ago, DC Comics reported that I would be writing GREEN ARROW #22, an interim issue between Brad Meltzer's stint on the title and the forthcoming Green Lantern/Green Arrow crossover marking Judd Winick's debut as scripter.

Very happily, my tale is illustrated by regular GA artists Phil Hester and Ande Parks.

Phil and I have known each other for years, but this is our first (and hopefully not final) collaboration.
I'm up for ATLAS if you are, Phil!

Look for it in stores this February as Oliver Queen encounters a dizzying old foe!

LOGO-A-GO-GO

If you haven't noticed already, all of DC Comics' Bat-Titles have undergone cover makeovers beginning with Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee's sold-out BATMAN #608.
Here's a peek at the new trade dress for BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHTS, which debuts with issue #35. We'll be sporting a spiffy new logo to accompany the already outstanding Brian Bolland covers!
