book BATMAN: THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO THE DARK KNIGHT for
online sales. Though the official publication date isn't until
September 1st, I welcome any interested Bat-Fans to link directly

As
I've mentioned in previous updates, the last six months of my
life have pretty much been dominated by all things Batman…from
the DK book to the forthcoming THE JOKER: LAST LAUGH (see
below).
This past week, however, marks a change of scenery as I trade
my squatter's digs in the Batcave for temporary lodging in the
Fortress of Solitude.
I'm very pleased to announce that I'm beginning work on DK's paean to the other half of the "World's Finest Team," a volume tentatively titled SUPERMAN: THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO THE MAN OF STEEL.
Expect it to be just as big as
Batman's book, with Kal-El's life and times, his friends and foes,
and everything from Krypton to Krypto explored in exhausting detail.
And I do mean EXHAUSTING…
LASTEST LAUGHI'm still fielding questions on the nature of this October's DC Comics "Fifth Week" extravaganza THE JOKER: LAST LAUGH, a little anarchic gumbo Chuck Dixon and I have been cooking up for the last year.
European readers are reminded to check out the next issue of COMICS INTERNATIONAL, which contains an interview I recently conducted on the genesis of LAST LAUGH and how Chuck and I collaborate (including the truth behind our "tin cans and length of string" hotline).
Finally, there have been several

year, specifically whether or not I'll be attending the Chicago
and San Diego comic cons…or both.
I'll have cemented my con plans in just a few weeks, so expect
a listing of show dates in the next update.
I'm anxious to attend the Summer shows and promote my BATMAN: THE ULTIMATE GUIDE hardcover, LAST LAUGH, and one or two other comic book projects which will most likely be announced officially in the coming months.
